“The Financial Statements have been prepared on a going concern basis. The business has net liabilities of £919,000 (2024 Net liabilities:£566,000) at the balance sheet date. The Premier Mushroom Group Limited is dependent on its parent undertaking, Monaghan Mushrooms Limited, for financial and other support. The parent company has indicated its willingness to provide this financial support for at least one year from the date of approval of these financial statements. On that basis, the directors are satisfied that the going concern basis of preparation of the financial statements is appropriate. The directors have prepared and reviewed Group cash flow projections and a detailed business plan extending beyond the 12 month horizon from the date of approval of these financial statements. The directors have regard to the state of the wider group, its current and future trading needs and consider it appropriate to continue to prepare the company accounts on a going concern basis.”
