“The Company has a very good balance sheet position, with a cash balance of £46m and net assets of £78.5m as at 31 March 2026 (2025: £79.5m). Despite making a loss after tax for the year of £1.1m (2025: profit £8.4m), the business delivered net cash flows from operating activities of £8.3m (2025: (£13.2m)). The Company is wholly owned by the DHSC who makes available a £50m credit facility to cover any cash shortfall, should the need arise. This facility has not been utilised by the Company and the current agreement expires 31st March 2027. The Board are confident that the Company will have sufficient funds to continue in operational existence and to meet its liabilities as they fall due for at least 12 months from the date of approval of these financial statements. They continue to adopt the going concern basis of accounting in preparing the annual financial statements.”
