The Leasehold and Freehold Reform Act 2024 received Royal Assent in May 2024. The Government intends to continue implementing the Act and pursue further reform, with proposals in the draft Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Bill to cap ground rents on existing long residential leases at £250 per year.”
