“At the date of this report sufficient funding is in hand to commission Waverley for a full season which commenced on 8th May 2026 as expected. The trustees are confident that a combination of funds generated by passenger sailings and donated funds will be sufficient to continue the operation for the forthcoming twelve months. Therefore the trustees continue to adopt the going concern basis of accounting.”

- “As the winter layup and overhaul for 2025/26 commenced the scheduled works included replacement of the port spring beam and steelwork replacement in the paddle drum and waste-rope working areas. Deck repairs were to be focussed on the port sponson, promenade deck and bridge deck.”
- “Due to the discovery of rot affecting the main mast the replacement of both masts had become necessary. It was decided that the timber window frames in the dining saloon required replacement. Due to the inclusion of the masts and windows at a late stage and with the capital project utilising available funds a public appeal was launched to raise £135k for the masts and windows. This had been achieved by February 2026.”
